  • 1908 Mar 5-15th - Common congress of ВМОРО in Kyustendil.

  • 1908 March - First attempt for financial revision of the Saint Synod by the Ministry of Finance and for financial control of the Synod by the Central Audit Office.

  • 1908 May 2-4th - The Union of the Officers of the Reserve hold its first congress.

  • 1908 Beginning of May - ВМОРО’s left holds its first congress in Bansko and in the Emchirishte region (Pirin).

  • 1908 May 25th - Fourteenth General Assembly elections. Won by the Democratic Party.

  • 1908 June 9-10th - Eduard VII and Nicholas II agree to unite their efforts to pressure the Gate for reforms in Macedonia.

  • 1908 June 15th - The General Assembly convenes.

  • 1908 July 3rd - The Young Turk Revolution for the reinstitution of the constitution from 1876.

  • 1908 July 18th - Yane Sandanski publishes a manifesto I support of The Young Turks. On Aug 14th a project program of his in the spirit of Ottomanism is published. Sandanski had been in contact with them since 1905
