Timeline for this episode:

  • 1918, Sep 24th - The Vladai Uprising begins among Bulgarian units.

  • 1918, Sep 25th - Those found guilty in the “DesClosières affair” are pardoned by Tsar Ferdinand.

  • 1918, Sep 25th - The Crown Council convenes in Sofia and decides to request an armistice. Agrarian leaders Stamboliiski and Daskalov are released from prison so they can convince mutinying soldiers to return to the front and not overthrow the government.

  • 1918, Sep 27th - Rayko Daskalov proclaims the Radomir Republic and begins leading troops to take Sofia.

  • 1918, Sep 28th - Around 500 soldiers are shot at the Zaharna Fabrika station as they attempt to reach Sofia.
